Editorial Guidelines

How TrustedSupplements.co evaluates wellness products and builds review pages.

These guidelines explain how we compare products, when we use disclosure language, and what readers should assume about medical review, brand relationships, and page updates.

Disclosure policy

Some review or buying-guide pages may contain disclosed affiliate or referral links to compliant third-party brands or marketplaces. We do not hide that relationship.

Medical review policy

Our content is educational. Unless a named reviewer is explicitly listed on a page, readers should not assume physician or clinician review.

Review workflow

01

Category framing

We define what a page is comparing, who it is for, and which shopper questions it should actually answer.

02

Brand and label review

We look at labels, ingredient transparency, dosing clarity, and whether the claims a reader will see are specific or vague.

03

Evidence scan

We review publicly available research, safety context, and the confidence level behind the claims being discussed.

04

Value comparison

Pricing, serving count, subscription structure, and product positioning are compared side by side when they materially affect the reader decision.

05

Disclosure check

If a page includes affiliate or referral links, disclosure language must appear on that page in clear, human-readable language.

06

Ongoing updates

We refresh pages when a product changes materially, when a recommendation becomes outdated, or when a factual issue is reported by readers.

What we evaluate

  • Ingredient quality and formula logic
  • Clarity of labeling and brand transparency
  • Price relative to serving size and positioning
  • Evidence support for the type of claim being made
  • Reader usefulness: whether the page actually helps compare options

What we will not do

  • Publish undisclosed monetized links on review pages.
  • Promise cures, medical outcomes, or unsupported timelines.
  • Invent clinician review where none exists.
  • Leave materially outdated recommendations live without review.
